- United Kingdom (UK): 2.5% import duty for jewellery exceeding £135, plus 20% VAT on the total value including shipping and insurance.
- United States: Duty-free allowance up to $800. Above this threshold, duties typically range from 6% to 7%, depending on materials and value.
- India: A 20% import duty applies. Personal exemptions: men may import up to 20g of gold jewellery (max ₹50,000), women up to 40g (max ₹100,000), duty-free.
- Australia: 10% GST on the total value including shipping and insurance, with an additional 5% duty for items over AUD 1,000.
- Singapore: No customs duties on jewellery. A 7% GST applies on shipments valued over SGD 400.
- Brazil: 50% import tax on the CIF value (cost, insurance, and freight) for shipments over $50 (approx. 250 BRL).
- Switzerland: Duty-free for goods under CHF 150. Above that, 7.7% VAT is levied on the full amount including shipping.
- Saudi Arabia: A 5% VAT applies to all imported goods, including jewellery, introduced in 2018.
